Hi,
I have an Application aware backup job of two SQL 2014 servers With transaction log backup every 15 min.
There are no errors on either job, but somehow the transaction logs on the SQL server keeps growing.
After further investigation i see that the transaction log backup reports successful backing up 0 bytes from 0 databases.
All db permission has been given to the backup user in SQL, even sysadmin, and i cant find the suggested guesthelper Log error message in KB ID 2447.
Any ideas?
Regards

Re: Transaction log backup no data
Hi again,
It now seems to work and it was the changes in the KB article that did the trick. It seems that we had not performed a new full backup so the changes hadn't taken effect yet, but after running the full backup again the log backup started crunching data
Thanks for the quick response.
