Trigger backup job on HP-UX

Is there a way to trigger a backup job on a HP-UX to grab snapshots from there and backup those using Veeam to the Veeam datastore?

Could you be more specific on what you are trying to achieve please? What Veeam product are you referring to? Do you want to grab HP-UX filesystem snapshot and transfer it to Veeam repository?

Yes, grab the snapshot and backup to repository using Veeam Backup and Replication version 9.5
