Hi,
If you are backing up sql database but the database is set to simple mode does veeam just skip the database? its just that its not possible to truncate the logs but on the server you may have other databases that are set to full.;

Yes, log truncation is only needed for database in Full recovery mode... in Simple mode, SQL manages the logs automatically. Thanks!
