Tuning backups sent to cloud repository

Post by hilms »

Hi Guys

Seem to be running out of my time window for sending backups to cloud. Currently using Backup and Replication 9.5 ……. any tips on the best way to tune this?

Cheers

Hi,

Is it a full job pass or incremental one?

Thanks!

In this case you may want to try splitting this backup copy job to multiple ones and run them in parallel if your network bandwidth allows that. Additionally, I would also take a look at the network bandwidth from your location to the VCSP, might be worth upgrading it.
