that's the whole repository for multiple mailbox (one data store by domain or department )
here we have a multiple domain environment so one data store for al users in a domain

Dismount the datastore, perform a file level restore of the datastore files, remount the datastore.

Restoring a entire datastore is indeed quite easy. It's a little more involved if you want to restore individual items in mailboxes or public folders as that requires use of the virtual lab capability.
