unable to restore vm after deleted from vcenter

hi - we are using veeam br 9.5 and esx5.5. had several vm's backed up that were re-added in vcenter (removed from inventory, added back with new ID's). how do we restore one of these vm's? i've tried restoring from files, viewing vib files, etc.

Hi, I am not sure I understand your question? Normally you just start the Restore wizard, and perform the full VM restore by selecting VM from backup, and the required restore point.

i thought that as well, but it appears to get references to backups from vcenter/vsphere. since deleted out of there there's no way to find it in the files? maybe i need a utility to browse .vib files?

hi - no, no errors. its just not find-able. its like it never existed but i know its in there. i just removed it from vcenter inventory.

What happens, if you go to Backups node -> Disk -> select required backup -> expand it -> chose given VM -> right-click on it and try to restore?
