unable to use database VeeamBackupreportingq

Hello to all Veeam Experts,

i have update my Veeam 6.5 to 7.0 an Patch #3 i have also Version 7.0.0.833.

I want to Install the Veeam Backup Enterprise an got the follow Error:

Unable to use database VeeambackupReporting, beacuse it was created with al later version of the product.

I found a KB to fix them = http://www.veeam.com/kb1845
SQl Query
Use VeeamBackup
UPDATE [Version] SET current_version = 1179

but it doesnt work.

is there a new current Version = für the Patc#3 Release 7.0.0.833

Andre, have you upgraded Enterprise Manager to v7 prior to upgrading Veeam B&R itself, as it is outlined in the recommended upgrade procedure given in release notes? What was your upgrade procedure?

Hello foggy,

i download the Release 7 and update/upgrade inplace.

first the veeambackup
and want to install enterprise second.

then i got the error.

Are you performing an in-place upgrade of Enterprise Manager as well or is it a completely new installation?

Then I guess you need to revert the EM configuration database version, the same way it is described for Veeam B&R configuration database in the article you're referring to. I believe support will be able to assist you with this.
