please see below pic :Gostev wrote:Amount of data read from the source VM by a backup proxy

why my transferred is : 29.9GB and my Backup size is : 39.9
you said transferred is the size of data that transferred for example when transferred 30GB data while it want save on repository can decrease with compression or deduplication but here the size of data that saved in repository is more than transferred why ??

Re: Understanding replication job progress information
Do you have the "Decompress..." setting enabled on the repository?

[MERGED] Veeam Backup and Replication Interface
Hey community
In the main interface where you create a backup Job is after every job a summary.
Can someone explain me what does every information on the summary mean?
sincerly

Re: Veeam Backup and Replication Interface
If you mean this step, then it is a recap of the main job settings, including its name, type, selection list and some other configuration parameters, depending on what was actually configured. Is there any specific setting that is not clear for you?

Re: Veeam Backup and Replication Interface
Hey foggy
thanks for your reply. But it is not the right interface.
After every finished backup job is a summery in the Backup& Replication softwae.
I don't understand what does it mean with processed, read and transferred.

Re: Veeam Backup and Replication Interface
Processed: Total size of all disks of all processed VMs
Read: Amount of data read from source datastore (less than Processed, because we don't need to read blocks which we know are zeroed)
Transferred: Amount of data sent over network to backup repository (less than Read, because of compression)
