Hi everyone,
I have a doubt about how Sure backup works.
If I have a backup job with 40 vms, its possible to make a sure job that only test 1 or 2 vms (members of that backup job), or when I link a backup job includes all vms inside it?
Thanks regards!

Re: Understanding Sure Backup
Hello Leonardo
Welcome to the forum.
Today a SureBackup job will test all VMs in the linked job. If you want to test only selected VMs, you can add them to a application group. Create a SureBackup Job which only tests this application group.

In our upcoming version 12.1, you will be able to use VM exclusions. This will allow you to link a backup job, but only test specific VMs. Additionally you will be able to test only a specific amount of random VMs each time a job runs.
We plan to release the new version till the end of 2023.
Best,
Fabian
