I have been using enterprise manager before in veeam 7 but uninstalled it a couple months ago with going to control panel select veeam b& r, chose uninstaller, and select veeam enterprise manager for uninstall. Alle went good.
I now try to install Veeam 8 Enterprise Manager but I get an error message saying that another version exist. I have also rebooted.
Is there a hidden line in the sql version which is leftover i should remove (after taking a sql backup of course..)
Or should I just open a support ticket for a quick remote session?

Yes, you should open a support ticket for issues like that.

Re: Uninstall Enterprise Manager- another version exist
Solved the problem by installing version 7 of veeam enterprise manager again. Had to start the installator from the subfolder EnterpriseManager instaed of the autorun. It also caused some license issues since I could not install the enterprise v7 with my license file for v8.. But had an old licensing file around which I used, installed EM v7, upgraded to EM v8, and then installed the coorect v8 license again.
Problem solved afer tip from Veeam support.
