(Universal) Licensing for Enterprise Applications (HANA)
Hi,
We currently have socket-based and instance-based licenses for Veeam Enterprise. I am currently evaluation backing up HANA databases to Veeam with Veeam Plug-in for SAP HANA using an instance-based test license for Enterprise Plus. We backed up a couple of databases from two hosts to a Veeam repository, but it does not seem to consume any instances. How is this supposed to work? We have multiple physical hosts with multiple HANA databases each. Also, how does this change/work with the upcoming universal licenses?

So what from I understand it should consume 1 instance for each physical host no matter how many databases are protected on each host. Same goes for universal licensing. Thank you.
