Case: 04402046
Hello,
When doing Redhat restores Veeam uses what I believe they call a helper appliance. I have run into this a few times where the appliance gets stuck, doesn't shut down and then seems to hold the IP. The next time I need to do a restore the appliance errors out saying the IP is in use. This is my best guess as to what is going on. Below is a picture of what I'm seeing this time. Sometimes it doesn't show anything at all?
EDIT MOD: dead link removed
It seems that their is no way to kill just one thing in Veeam. To fix this I would have to stop all Veeam processes.
Thx
Kevin

Re: Unix Restore Appliance Not Shutting Down...
Hello,
I can only recommend to continue with support why it happens in your specific environment. That's not a general issue that happens regularly.
Best regards,
Hannes
PS: I also removed the link, as it is not pointing anywhere.
