VBR console response

Is it just me, or has the Veeam Backup and Replication console lost it's snappiness lately? I have multiple client sites that utilize VBR and I've noticed that lately at most of them console lags when one tries to do anything. As in very slow response times. And it's not like the VBR servers are slouches - most are DL380 Gen9 with 2 x E2660 and 128GB ram, SAS SSDs for the boot drive and have nothing else running on them but VBR.

What Veeam B&R version are you at? Are you referring to remote console or local Veeam B&R console? Thank you.

Hi guys

Since i updated two of our several B&R installations to update 3, the B&R console regulary freezes on specific circumstances, which are f.e.:
- Click on a running copy job, which is running since a while
- Click on a Windows Agent Backup Job (eighter left or right click), which includes several machines

If it happens, the console completely freezes and i have to wait like 10min until it is responding again. It is only the Veeam console which freezes. The rest of the server is still usable as normal and it also doesn't consume a lot of ressources.

Does anyone else has problems with the responsiveness of the veeam console since update 3, or am i the only one which has it on two completely different installations? Actually both are quite big environements with 50+ jobs...

Same issue here, console has been slow and unresponsive after upgrade to U3 last week. We run a fairly large infrastructure with about 3500 VMs. I have a ticket 02452944 open with Veeam and they are looking into it.

I second that. Installed U3 yesterday. The GUI is sluggish, and sometimes stops responding and gives a prompt that the action is taking longer than expected, press cancel to abort. But the cancel button is greyed out.

We'd appreciate if you open support tickets for the said issue. Support engineer would analyse debug logs and see what exact procedure makes GUI crawl.

Thank you for providing us with the support ticket number (should help us, in case internal investigation is needed). For now let's just wait till support team check debug logs and come up with a conclusion.

Hi Nick, as far as I can see from the cases above, there are some performance issues related to not optimized DB requests that are currently being worked on on our side. You can open you own case to confirm the nature of your behavior is the same and be notified about the hotfix.
