Update V10 to V11 Question

Hi,

I'm running several Jobs with Transaction Log Backup.

Must I stop these Jobs before I'll do an Update ?

Hello,

You can use the checklist from this guide.

Ensure there are no running jobs, restore sessions, Instant Recovery sessions and SureBackup jobs. We recommend that you do not stop running jobs and let them complete successfully. Disable any periodic and backup copy jobs temporarily to prevent them from starting during the upgrade.

So I would wait until backup jobs are finished.

Transaction Log Backups never stops. There are in a idle state, similar to backup copy jobs with the periodic mode.
You need to disable the corresponding backup job, when no transaction log is copying right now
