Update Version

Post by stryde » Aug 07, 2018 3:56 pm

Hi,

The latest update version 9.5.0.1922 is compatible with version 9.5.0.1536, since I need to upgrade and I'm afraid the clients will be out of the version;

Thank you.

What do you mean by "compatible"?

Hi Leandro, please clarify your scenario. If you're asking whether Veeam B&R 9.5.0.1922 can be installed upon version 9.5.0.1536, then the answer is yes. If you mean upgrading your Cloud Connect environment before customers upgrade their Veeam B&R, then it is also ok, since our software is backward compatible.

Hi,

Thanks first.

The server that the clients connect to is version 1536 upgrading to 1922 would cause some flaws or would it be necessary for clients to also upgrade when upgrading ?

Thanks

It wouldn't cause any issues, as I mentioned, your server will be able to work with clients running previous version.
