Hi,
Currently running Veeam 6.5, backup server and enterprise manager are on separate vm's. I'm going to upgrade to version 7 and have read the upgrade guide but have a small query regarding Enterprise Manager upgrade.
I've got Enterprise Manager 6.5 installed with Microsoft Search Server 2010 Express. Will the upgrade to version 7 still be similar to what the guide says:
- run setup.exe
- click the Enterprise Manager tile
- follow the setup wizard and select the same SQL database
The VeeamBackupReporting database is on a separate SQL vm (using SQL 2008 R2 Enterprise) while the search server's numerous databases are on the Enterprise Manager vm itself using SQL 2008 R2 Express.
Is there anything else that needs to be done for the Enterprise Manager server, especially with regards to Microsoft Search Server before I move on to upgrade Veeam Backup server on a separate vm?
Thanks.

Re: Upgrade Enterprise Manager to v7
No additional steps are required, just select the database that was used by Enterprise Server previously ("VeeamBackupReporting database on a separate SQL vm") during its installation and you're good to go. Thanks!
