Veeam B&R 7.0 Update 4 is currently installed on a Windows server 2008 R2 server and based on SQL 2005 (express).
Can I install on the same server SQL 2008 R2 standard and, during the upgrade to B&R 9, select to create a new database and keep the existing confnguration and jobs?

I think it would make more sense to first migrate the database between SQL instances, make sure everything is working, uninstall the old instance (to avoid unnecessary resource usage), and then perform upgrade to v9.
