Hi All,
We are currently using Veeam 7 and planing to upgrade. Company want most stable version as they worry about issues/ Bugs. Which version is most stable and compatible with ESXi 5.5 and 5.1?

Re: upgrade plan Veeam 7
Both version 8 and 9 support ESXi 5.5 and 5.1.
Version 8 was released on November 6th, 2014 and has already three Updates. Version 9 was released on January 12, 2016, and Updates for it are yet to see a light.
Though, version 9 has a lot of hot fixes for version 8 incorporated in it.
So, it's up to you to decide which version to stick with.
Thanks.

Re: upgrade plan Veeam 7
Hi,
Thanks for the detail. Seems Version 8 would be better choice. Any tips on updating from Veeam 7 to Veeam 8?
Kind Regards,
Thameera

You can find step-by-step upgrade instructions in the release notes document.
