Hi. We have a Veem backup & replication version 11. It currently backs up around 250 VMs(95% Hyper-V), Linux, and Windows physical machines. Some of our VMs are running Windows 2003 server (yeah super old) so I'm curious if we upgrade it to version 12, will it be an issue? I looked through the checklist but it doesn't say it is compatible with the old Windows OS VMs.
Thank you.

Re: Upgrade to Veeam backup & replication 12 from 11
Hello Jay
Windows 2003 is not supported for application aware processing since Veeam Backup & Replication V12. Agent backups also do not support Windows 2003.
But as long as your Hyper-V supports running Windows 2003 VMs, you can take crash consistent backups of your Windows 2003 VM with Veeam. Even with Veeam Backup & Replication V12.
