Case #07272082: I am planning to upgrade from V11.0.1.1261 P20230227 to V12.1.
One of my repositories is a HP StoreOnce 4220.
The Veeam notes state that:
• HPE StoreOnce: the minimum supported operating system version is 3.18.18 for Gen3 and 4.2.3 for Gen4. Upgrade to it or the backup jobs pointed to this repository will fail to start.
Our HP StoreOnce 4220 is end of life, so only goes up to version 3.13.9-1843.1
Will this mean that if I upgrade to V12.1, backups to the HP StoreOnce 4220 will stop working?
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Case #07272082 - Upgrading to V12.1 - HP StoreOnce OS Version question
Hi Dan
Yes. That‘s what the upgrade note is saying.
Backup jobs to HPE StoreOnce Catalyst will not work anymore in v12.1.
Are you upgrading because of the EM vulnerability? If EM is on a dedicated server, you can only upgrade EM and keep the backup server on v11a. This gives you time to replace your StoreOnce with a new repository solutione (supported for v12.1 and later).
Best,
Fabian
