I am planning upgrading my veeam to 9.5 from 9
I want to move my enterprise server to a different Veeam server with a newer sql? My last update the enterprise DB had issues and is on 2012 but veeam is on 2008r2.
I would also like to update the SQL on each veeam server, currently SQL2008r2 to what ever is recommended unless I should just keep 2008r2
Can you point me to a doc that has the steps for this? I don't mind reinstalling the enterprise server from scratch if needed.

Re: upgrading from 9 to 9.5 DB question
Hi Larry,
You can utilize in-place upgrade, but don't forget to initiate configuration backup before the process.
The recommended version of SQL is 2014 according to the documentation.
Please review the Veeam B&R 9.5 release notes for additional information. Thanks!
