Hello,
We are currently running the latest version of Veeam B&R (v11) and using the bundled SQL Express version 2012 which was included when we originally installed version 9 a number of years ago.
I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the SQL Express 2012 instance to 2016, in the way described in this article: https://www.snurf.co.uk/veeam/veeam-upg ... -2016-sp1/
Or is there a prefered or recommened way to doing this process?
Kind Regards,
Chris

Re: Upgrading SQL Express 2012 to 2016
Hi Chris
Create a configuration backup just in case something goes wrong, then disable all Veeam Jobs and Veeam Services.
Then you can start the SQL upgrade. Please make sure, that upgrade path and your OS is supported by Microsoft for SQL Server 2016.
Thanks
Fabian
