I am currently on Veeam Backup & Replication v5.0.2.230 (64 bit). I want to go to 6.x. I have my license files already for 6.x.
I did read through the KB article: http://cp.veeam.com/?q=show_article.htm ... 363&type=1
I downloaded the file: veeam_backup_6.1.0.181_x64.zip.
Question: once I uninstall 5, can I just run that .zip, or must I first install 6.0 and then the patch mentioned in KB1363? (http://www.veeam.com/KB1442).
I am assuming I can just run the install for 6.1.0.181 after uninstalling 5.0.2.230.
I have also noted the release notes to 6.1 state:
"To perform upgrade of Veeam Backup & Replication server to version 6.1, you must be running
version 6.0, 5.0.1 or 5.0.2."
Again, sounds like I'm gtg. Just making double-sure.
Thanks

Re: Upgrading to 6.x
Hi Leif,
Our latest version (6.1) contains all patches which were available for 6.0, so all you need to do is follow upgrade procedure mentioned in the Release Notes included with your download.
Thanks!
