Upgrading to v10 Install Steps

Post by fazzauk »

Hi all,

Reading through the steps for upgrading to v10 the guide https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=100 assume you are still using SQL express but what steps should I follow if the SQL express has been migrated to SQL Standard?

Hi,

With any other edition you do not have any hard limit on the db size, so no additional steps are required here.

Thanks!

You have an option to use existing SQL Server during setup ( even for the initial setup). During the upgrade your current configuration will also be preserved. Thanks!

brill thanks

RFC has been submitted to clients CAB I will update this post with how things go next week but first the client needs to migrate to SQL standard first because express is at its limit :)
