Upgrading Veeam Backup V11 - Stuck Querying Installed Components
After upgrading to V11 the component window is stuck "querying install components" on one of of my proxy servers. It's been stuck there on that specific one for some time now.
I restarted Veeam and the proxy server with no luck.

Hi Scott,
Please provide a support case ID as requested when you create a new topic about technical issue. It does not look like a known issue and it's difficult to find the source of the problem without analysis of debug logs.
Thanks!

I just opened a case. 04925656
I can't access the Veeam console to pull logs while the component update window is open.

I'm sure that our engineers will be able to collect all necessary logs via remote session. In the meantime, you may upload all logs from C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup folder on the affected proxy.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Upgrading Veeam Backup V11 - Stuck Querying Installed Components
Would be great to have user feedback on these type of issues.
We encountered the same issue, with one of our management server \ microsoft windows machine, which was stuck at "Querying Installed Components".
Cancelling the task or closing the window did not do anything.
To solve this issue we did the following:
1) rebooted the managed Windows server which was not responding to the query
2) rebooted the veeam backup server
After that, when we started the veeam backup console again, the task for upgrading the components of the managed windows server went fine and we were able to use our Veeam Backup Server again.
I know that for that type of issue the best path is to log a support ticket, but in our case we needed our backup service back quickly and I guess we were lucky this time.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for sharing this information with the Community! I agree that it makes perfect sense to give this method a try but on the other hand we're discussing just a symtom which can appear due to many different causes, that's why we recommend to raise a support request.
Thanks!
