Using multiple cloud gateways in a scale out repository
In this article from Microsoft: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ ... -and-veeam there is a discussion about using multiple StorSimple devices to send Veeam Backup data to Azure, but no mention of using this in a Scale Out Repository. There are posts in this forum outlining that for performance reasons it wouldn’t be a good idea to include a StorSimple in a Scale Out Repository with other types of storage, but what about putting multiple StorSimples together in their own, Data Locality configured Scale Out Repository?

Re: Using multiple cloud gateways in a scale out repository
I don't see specific issues in using such a design, if the idea is to create a sobr group to send backup copies to Azure using this pool of StoreSimple machines.
