Hi,
I am installing Veeam and trying to make use of VSS, this works fine for all of the 2003 Server but by default the Admin Share in 2008 is not available as the firewall is turned on and File/Print Sharing is disabled.
Is there a simple way to workaround this i.e. a firewall policy I can create, or do I need to enable file/print sharing on all of our 2008 servers?
Many Thanks,
Matt

Re: Using VSS with Windows 2008 Servers
Hello Matt,
That's correct, as per our release notes File and Printer Sharing must be enabled on guest VMs in order for Veeam VSS integration to function properly. You may want to use group policies to enable this automatically:

Thank you!
