What is the best way to determine whether P1 is installed, then?
With previous releases we have always captured the build number across deployments to determine whether they are all up-to-date. It seems we need to expand on those checks.
Edit: It seems it does change. Just not the “number”.

Right, build number will not change because it is the same build. However, you will see P1 added to the build number. BTW, this fact is captured in the actual KB article
