I have found from Veeam support that I won't be able to upgrade my B&R to v10 because I use a cloud provider for my 365 backups and it won't work with the v9 explorers that my backup provider uses. I'm not sure they will be rushing to v10 either!
I have found that the solution will be to install another v9 instance with the v9 explorers on a separate machine so I am then free to upgrade my main B&R to v10.
Hoping this may help someone else out there with a similar problem

Re: v10 whilst using a cloud provider on v9 - solution
Service Providers always receive the RTM build in advance to prepare their infrastructure. I would suggest contacting your VCSP directly to be in sync on the upgrade plans.

Re: v10 whilst using a cloud provider on v9 - solution
I have talked to them and they won't be going to v10 yet, this was the problem getting stuck on v9 waiting for the service provider to upgrade whilst I need functionality in v10.

Re: v10 whilst using a cloud provider on v9 - solution
You have only two options, then:
* Don't update to v10 and wait, until your SP updates to v10
* Update to v10 and disable temporarily jobs to cloud infrastructure, until your SP updates to v10
Thanks!
