hello forum!
we are a small msp looking to begin recommending the community edition of veeam for really small customer environments that also have a very limited budget.
from my understanding, the community edition offers 10 free instances with a VM workload counting as 1 instance, workstation agent counting as 1 instance and server agent counting as 3 instances. has this changed?
did a quick lab and a agent i deployed with veeam community edition with 'server' being chosen only shows as using 1 instance within the licensing tab. has veeam been so generous to count server agents as consuming 1 instance now?!

Re: v11 community edition agent instance changed?
You are forbidden to offer/provide services with Community edition to your customers. If you want to offer a msp solution, your customer has to buy licenses from Veeam.
License Counts has changed 1-1.5 years ago. With Veeam V10. With the new VUL:
- 3 Workstations together are 1 VUL
- 1 Server Agent is 1 VUL
- 1 VM is 1 VUL
From the License Agreement:

Thanks Mildur.
We do have rental licenses as a veeam vcsp pro partner so looks like we will go that route.

No problem. Rental is a good option
