v11 license compatibility with previous socket licenses?

I somewhere (digest?) that previous VUL license files are compatible but no mention of socket licenses and support portal has no mention of v11 license yet.
I have the RTM build as a possible fix for an issue but I'd not rather take the step too early as Gostev over-extended on the promises on v10 RTM license files

Worry not, any v10 socket license will work with v11.

If you open your license file, you will notice that the new license format introduced with v10 no longer has the product version field. This change was specifically done to make sure our customers can use their multi-year license file with the future product versions, without having to constantly obtain dedicate license files for each product version they are eligible to.
