v12 seems to now require tcp6160 for Linux servers

Post by DonZoomik » 2 people like this post

I don't see it in v12 port requirements in context on Linux servers and my hardened repos are failing the upgrade while deploying Installer Service (that was not used before?).

Hi Mihkel

In V12 we will deploy our installer service (Port 6160) to managed Linux servers. This will allow future updates without enabling SSH and providing the credentials.
Before with V11, you were required to enable SSH each time when you wanted to update the components on a Linux server registered with single-use credentials.

We will update the user guide.

Thanks,
