Re: V12: Slow backup copy jobs and no Veeam.Backup.Manager.exe -SHOWPROXYUSAGES
The "fix" is to upgrade your backup chains to the new format (source AND destination). SqlStatementTimeout is just needed if the upgrade fails because of SQL timeout!

Can report now that the slow copy job problem was caused by our repository hardware. The problem was related to a stuck controller. Now that it's fixed performance is back to normal. Veeam case closed.

We deployed new proxys and the problem was solved. We had this issue on 4 sites - all four was fixed by the proxy re-deployment.

Not the same issue. The issue happens for us with direct backup copy jobs - here no proxies are involved.

If your primary jobs are slow with v12, check if you are using "reverse incremental". If you are, log a call for the hotfix. There is a bug with the reverse incremental on v12. Sorted our slow issues after v12 upgrade.

The hotfix for a regression that made reversed increment not use block cloning was included in the July cumulative patch.
