v9u2 monthly report, even with perpetual licenses?

Post by Cragdoo »

I knew that Update 2 was going to enable monthly reporting, but does this include perpertual licenses as well?? I've just spent the afternoon upgrading most of our VBR server to Update 2, and each one has a pop up saying

"Monthly usage report has been generated. Number of managed Vms for the previous month <VM count>. Please review and submit the report within the next 8 days."

As i stated we have perpetual licenses, so shouldn't need to report monthly figures.

My concern is what happens after the 8 days expires?

The report will be sent automatically. Agree, sending usage reports for perpetual licenses is a bug.

Already tracked as a bug; will be fixed in the next version. Thanks.
