VA Mode Win2k3/Win2k8 32/64 bit?

Post by rgs3 »

Are there any benefits to having my Veeam backup VM a 2003 or 2008 server? x86 or x64?

These make no difference for VA mode. But what really matters, is having at least 2 vCPU (or better yet 4).

Thanks Gostev. I had 2 vCPU and they only used up to about 75% utilization, but I figured I'd throw another CPU in there for a total of 3vCPUs for good measure (weird to see a VM with 3 CPUs!), and now its running at about 35-45% utilization.

Thanks!
