vCenter cannot replica

Hello

I have a VM contain Veeam / vCenter 4.0, it displayed VSSFreezer: Failed to freeze guest, wait timeout.
I searched this forum and someone said Veeam can't support replica vCenter.

Have any other method to backup vCenter in Veeam ?

Hello,

Veeam do can replicate vCenter VMs, please have a look at this thread for the answer: Backing up virtual center VM.

However if you have vCenter and Veeam backup server installed on the same VM, you will be able to backup this VM, but with VSS and VMware Quiescence disabled. But please be aware that you DB might be left in an inconsistent state. If you want to backup/replicate Veeam server you should backup SQL db only, which contains all the configuration information. ok, I disabled VSS it can replica to another ESX host. I have a question, how can do failover if Veeam VM fail ?

Actually this question is answered in the threads I've posted above, but if your Veeam backup server fails you may start your replicas manually using vSphere Client.
