vCloud Virtual Machine restore- MAC Address

Hi,
For the vCloud Virtual Machine restore to the alternative location under the vApp on the same organization and network, is it duplicate MAC address or creating the new one with different MAC address?

Hi, AFAIK if the original MAC address was automatically generated by vCenter, which is usually the case - then the new MAC address will be used when restoring to the alternative location. This is because vCenter prohibits setting MAC address to the value from its "automatic MAC address assignment" pool. Thanks!

One more question: Can we automatically to power one vm after restore to the alternative location was done, or it should be done manually?

What about source vm's powered on/off status? Any recommendation before vCloud backup?
