Veeam 8 - Backup fails with VVScontrol Failed to freeze Gues

Hallo,

first i like to say thank you due to the last help i received here in the forum. Now i have an Issue regarding same Backup Jobs. The Backup Server is a Win7-64 VM Maschine runnning on the the Same vmware server like the maschine which causes the Error. Its a SBS2011-64. since two weeks now is fails due to the first one or two tries to freezes the guest:
VSScontrol: Failed to freeze Guest.
The third try is allways successful. I shifted the job a bit to be sure that tine time-Window matches best. And i set two registry Keys - found in the KB here -:

VssPreparationTimeout - 1200000
InverseVssProtocolOrder - 1

The next day all runs smooth but today again.
I would like to solve this issue but would like to get a hint what to try next. Here are the last line of the log File:

Hi, Jens,

VssPreparationTimeout - 1200000
InverseVssProtocolOrder - 1

If the job fails due to exceeding preparation timeout, you can increase the first value even further and see whether it helps. I don't think the second regkey is necessary, as it just makes AAIP work via VIX.

Also try to give a bit more resources (CPU, Memory) to the SBS VM you're trying to freeze for proper application backup, might help.

Thank you for your hint. I will try accordingly and i will respekt the posting of the logs. I dont´t expect here the full support Team, But i found here many Solutions and like the forum very much.
