I installed Veeam 8, one of the things that I was looking forward to is the planned failover, so that I would not have to be available to failover everything over to DR, when I opened it, I was disappointed in this, because it is expecting 2 BAT files in order to do the fail over.
I was expecting a GUI way of scripting the failover.
Has anybody else looked into this, or has any examples of any BAT files that is needed for this?
Thank you

Re: Veeam 8 Planned Failover
Based on the context, I assume you are talking about Failover Plan, and not Planned Failover (two absolutely different features).
The ability to call these BAT files is provided to enable additional operations that may be needed to be performed outside of Veeam as a part of entire site failover, such as updating network equipment settings. You don't have to specify them, they are completely optional.
Thanks!
