Hi,
is Windows Server 2003 still supported in Veeam 9?
If not, is there any way to get some extended support?
Cheers,
Martin

Re: Veeam 9 + Windows Server 2003 Support?
Windows Server 2003 is dropped from the list of supported platforms in v9. Which sounds reasonable to me, since its extended support has ended in July and you cannot count on any security patches/reliability fixes for this OS anymore.

That said, this applies to Veeam B&R components only (proxies and repositories): you will still be able to backup/replicate/restore VMs running Windows 2003, as long as VMware vSphere version you are using supports this OS.

Also applies to Tape Servers.

Correct, none of Veeam B&R components can run on Windows Server 2003 any longer.
