Hello,
i get error
/tmp/veeamagent
permission denied during restore Linux file
this is happen because i set no execution can be performed on tmp folder and tmp set as separated partition (share hosting security)
LABEL=/tmp /tmp ext3 rw,nosuid,noexec
my question is , how to set veeamagent to run from different folder

Hello Gershon,

There is no way to specify different temp folder for veeamagent. You may want to use Instant VM Recovery option to grab the file you need, in this case no agents will be executed in the tmp folder.

Is this still valid? We have this error when using FLR on linux, cause /tmp is noexec. Maybe veeam should use $TMP and $TMPDIR (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TMPDIR) and not fixed /tmp.

Yes, there is a way to change it now. You need to create a registry key "LinAgentFolder" REG_SZ in this path on the Veeam B&R server:
