I know Veeam can create NetApp storage snapshots, and also take the backup on Secondary NetApp storage.
My question is, can Veeam instructs NetApp storage to cceate Netapp Snapmirror between primary and secondary site, instead of using NetApp to create?
I know SM license will be required.
Thanks!

Re: Veeam and NetApp SnapMirror
No, Veeam will not create SnapMirror relationships on its own. You have to set them up yourself, after that Veeam will be able to use them. Thanks!

Re: Veeam and NetApp SnapMirror
Okay. If I have to create the SnapMirror relationship from NetApp filers,
can I at least see the status about SnapMirror from Veeam GUI on both source and the destination, as for if it is running alright? and if yes, how?

Re: Veeam and NetApp SnapMirror
No, there's no such indication in Veeam B&R UI except the fact that if SnapMirror is not in place, it will not be available as the secondary destination (if I remember correctly).
