VEEAM B&R 6.0 Configuration Backup

Hi community,

i have to upgrade VEEAM B&R Version 6.0 to Version 7. I read that you should backup your configuration via the "configuration backup" wizard first, but the feature is apparently not implemented in version 6.0.
So is there another way to backup my settings before upgrade to the newer version?

You can backup Veeam B&R SQL configuration DB using native SQL backup methods.

Afterwards i imported the backup via SQL Server Management Studio Express in the current Veeam B&R Version 8 successfully, but if i start veeam there are no replica jobs or settings i configured.

So just to clarify, there are backup jobs but no replication jobs or there no jobs at all in the imported database?

There are no backup jobs (only replication jobs). None of these replication jobs are shown in Veeam B&R 8 after importing the backup.
