Hello,
I've checked the VMware userguide of Veeam 6.1 regarding the possibility to map an old Veeam 5.x replica in a new Veeam 6.1 job, but I'm not sure whether this is also possible with a container-based job (in particular, a LUN based one), does the "Detect" button automatically scan source LUNs for VMs that can be mapped with target replicas?
Thank you,
E.

Re: Veeam B&R 6.1, LUN-based jobs and mapped VM replicas
You can map replication jobs regardless of how they are organized (VM-based or container-based), you just need the corresponding VMs to exist in target location. However, automatic replica detection functionality does not work for old replicas as it relies on replica metadata, which is specific to v6 and later versions. So you have to map each VM manually.
