Veeam B&R Free edition - How to manage backup jobs ?
Hello,
I would like delete old backup jobs and associated backup files (vbk) from Veeam B&R Free edition database. I do not know how can I do it. Can anyone help me ? If I try delete current vbk file direct from folder on disk, it is forbidden by something.
Several old files so I could catch up (delete), but just do not know how to remove the record of the history of backup jobs.
Thank you

Hello,
Veeam backup free edition does not allow to create/manage backup jobs. Did you use trial edition of Veeam B&R and then switched to free one?
Thank you!

Yes it was switched to free edition from trial mode. And what about vbk file deletion ? How can I delete old vbk file ? Now in free mode only Veeam ZIP full backup is allowed, OK, but this task generate also file with vbk extension.
Thank you

In this case you need to switch back to full mode (Select View > Full functionality (advanced) from the main menu) and then delete the corresponding backup job and its backups.

Did you navigate to Backup & Replication tab, select the required job and choose to delete job?

Yes, but this job list is empty, so I cannot select and delete jobs. I can only see past jobs on History tab and I have corresponding vbk files on my HDD.

If you don't have any jobs in that tab, then what jobs do you want to manage? I'm a bit confused now If you need to remove backup files created by old job, then navigate to backups node -> Imported and delete old backups from there.

Re: Veeam B&R Free edition - How to manage backup jobs ?
I did not have imported view in my backup node. But I tried import old backup files (all which i wanted delete) and now I see imported view and I can delete old imported jobs includink vbk files from disk . So records about my old jobs in Veaam Backup & Replication database was not good formerly. So this is solution for me...
Thank you

Backup files should have been displayed under imported backups node automatically, anyway glad that you've managed to remove them from the console.
