Wondering if the community has run into this issue...
I'm performing an in-place upgrade from v6.5 to v8.0 (Windows Server 2008 R2). The setup package fails upon installation/upgrade of VeeamBackupCatalog64.msi. The message I recieve is...
The file 'E:\Catalog\VeeamBackupCatalog64.msi' is not a valid installation package for the product Veeam Backup Catalog. Try to find the installation package 'VeeamBackupCatalog64.msi' in a folder from which you can install Veeam Backup Catalog.
Has anyone run across this issue? Is there a known fix?
Thank you
Rex

Re: Veeam B&R v8.0 Upgrade Problem
I was able to successfully upgrade to v8. I had to pull VeeamBackupCatalog64.msi from the v6.5 install package and point the installer to it's location.

Re: Veeam B&R v8.0 Upgrade Problem
Looks like setup could not find the correct version of that MSI package (required to uninstall the old component) in Windows Installer cache for some reason (cache clean up took place, for example).
