Veeam B&R webinterface not available after reinstall
Hello guys,
A couple of days ago I had to reinstall Veeam B&R 9.5 update 2 after a failed upgrade to update 3 (my fault).
Now Veeam B&R is functioning fine, except the webinterface is not available anymore, not via http nor https (on port 8443).
Is there any additional configuration left to do?
I was looking trough the knowledge base and found this https://www.veeam.com/kb1168 along with some other info but this doens't look like the solution.
There are no firewall changes and the IIS configuration is unchanged.

Hello, no - we do not require any manual configuration performed - everything is take care of by the setup program. Thanks!

Hi System32,
Was Veeam B&R installed brand new or you used the existing configuration database? Did you re install EM together with Veeam B&R or you are trying to access an old EM instance? Thanks.

I used the existing configuration file that I created before I started the upgrade. I didn't install Enterprise Manager.
A quick scan with Nmap shows that the port is closed:
PORT STATE SERVICE
8443/tcp closed https-alt
Windows Firewall is disabled on the machine.

OK may be I am missing something, but what web interface do you expect to be available if you did not install Enterprise Manager?

Gostev,
Thanks for your reply.
To be honest, this was the first time I had to (re)install Veeam B&R and I don't know exactly what all individual packages are for. But if that is the reason I know whats the first thing to do next week monday, after reading "the word of Gostev" of course

You can remove the old Enterprise Manager (if it no longer needed/working properly, you can remove it via Add/Remove programs). Once you confirm that EM is removed, launch Veeam B&R installation from an iso and perform Enterprise Manager installation like described in this article.
