veeam backup and replication 12 p20230223

Hi! Could any one tell me is there support in veeam 12.0.0.420 p20230223 of vmware esxi 8.0 u1? I have a perpetual license, which has ended in 27.02.2023 and don't understand how could i update to version p20230223 but i could not update to p20230412, however 20230223 patch released when my contract has expired. Please help to understand this moments.

Ou vSphere support matrix is documented in the following KB: https://www.veeam.com/kb2443

You need to have at least 12.0.0.1420 P20230412 for vSphere v8 Update 1.
Your version is not supported with vSphere v8 U1.

Ok. Thank you for answer, but what about my persistance license, which we didn't renew in February 2023, but could install march update? Perhaps is there some error that we can't install p20230412?

Updates can only be installed with an active maintenance contract (or subscription license).

It’s possible that P20230223 worked because it was build before your license has expired.
