Veeam Backup Encryption

Hi guys,

We currently run our backs in Incremental backup mode with some having synthetic full backups periodically.. Currently don't encrypt and would like to change this. Can anybody help me to understand what will happen once i set encryption on a backup job, will it set full active job? id like to understand before setting this up.

Hi Jonathan,

Yes, backup following enabling encryption on a job level will be forced Active Full.
