Hello,
We have two 1-socket Quad-Core Server with Hyper-V Installed and need a backup software for them.
I read the license guide and understood that Veeam Backup Essentials covers 2 CPU socket with one license. But does _one_ license also covers two sockets in two seperate servers? Can I run Veeam on both server with 1 socket each with one license?
Best regards,
Burak

Re: Veeam Backup Essentials Licensing 2x1Socket Server
Hi,
You can install any number of backup servers using the same license file, as long as the actual socket usage across all backup servers does not exceed the licensed amount. To ensure compliance, we recommend that you use Veeam Backup Enterprise Manager, which provides centralized license management. Enterprise Manager reports actual socket usage across all backup servers, and can be used to apply new license file to all connected backup servers. Also license can be split - please contact support team for that.
Thank you.
